Excellent massager. Jul 14, 2010
By Michele Blecic I bought this on the recommendation of my personal trainer, and it is excellent for massaging my legs. The length is perfect for me. There are 8 beads, each about 1 inch in length, for 8 inches to massage with. The handles are just a little wider than my hands, so I can get a firm grip without having too much extra length getting in the way.
This is a great massager for anybody that has leg cramps. I love it after working out, especially after a leg workout with lifting. Its especially good when my calves are cramping up after lifting or cardio.

TOTALLY AMAZING Mar 06, 2011
By liz I am a licensed massage therapist, so my neck and back are always in pain at the end of the day. I opened the package, looked at the simple instructions of how and where to use, and after ten minutes of using it, I feel amazing. I was working all day today, and now i feel like I just woke up. I would recommend it to anyone!!!!

plantar fascitis Jun 24, 2011
By B. Purcell first of all i want to say that i ordered this yesterday, and by the time i got out of work today it was on my doorstep! From nj to ohio in one day tells me a lot about this seller, so immediately i was impressed. Now on to the meat and potatoes. I suffer from a severe case of plantar fascitis in both feet....its so bad that from feb to may of this year i was on crutches and im still experiencing quite a bit of pain. Needless to say my recovery is very slow. Part of the reason for me still having problems is the fact that all the doctors that i have seen just want to feed me pills and tell me to rest. Later after a lot of reading i discovered that the majority of the pain in my foot is actually coming from my calves and shins. The remedy? Myofascial relief of trigger points. So far i have been making good use of a foam roller and a tennis ball, and i made very good strides almost immediately. After a bit though i was having difficulty getting deep enough of a massage for it to work as well. And that is when i decided to purchase The Stick. So here is my initial reaction to The Stick:
Quality: very simple design, all plastic, but feels very sturdy. Has a really nice solid feel to it with a little bit of weight.
Effectiveness: definitely as advertizes for my calves and thighs. It is much easier to use The Stick on my lower body than a foam roller or a tennis ball. As for upper body, i think its more practical to use a tennis ball and a wall, you get a deeper massage and can pin point a trigger point much better.
Overall a very solid product. I would definitely reccomend The Stick for anyone suffering from something similar to what i am going through, or for just about any active person who takes their recover seriously.

Amazing for plantar fasciitis Nov 22, 2011
By Henry Crider I normally don't write reviews, but am hoping this one can help someone. I got this product to work out cramping I have had on my calfs. I have had a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis over the last 6 months as well. I had to actually use a cane to get around some. Embarassing for a 45 yeard old I would say. My leg cramps in the middle of the night were really bad. To make a long story short, I got this in the mail the other day, used it for about 15 minutes while watching tv. (made my 13 year old go get it from the UPS guy at the front door.) I was amazed. I just sat there and rolled it up and down on the painful areas. I got instant relief. I was able to put pressure on my heal without much pain right away. I have been doing it for the last server days and continue to find new knots that I am working out. I still have some tightness in my calfs but that is slowly going away. Too cool. The plantar fasciitis seems to be going away quickly too. I am blown away that it could be that simple. This product does seem to hold up well. Good luck.
