HEY,IT WORKS! Jan 31, 2010
By F. gwozdz TAKE THE INSOLE OUT OF YOUR SHOE .PLACE THE SPENCO HEEL CUSHION IN THE HEEL AREA OF THE SHOE. THEN, REPLACE THE INSOLE IN THE SHOE...THE INSOLE KEEPS THE SPENCO HEEL CUSHION IN PLACE AND YOU CAN START WALKING AGAIN....BUT, IF YOU STILL HAVE PAIN,SEE A PODIATRIST .DON'T TRY TO LIVE WITH IT,IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE THE LONGER YOU WAIT.

Gets the job done; good buy Feb 13, 2011

"Happy Lovejoy"
I purchased Spenco gel heel inserts because I wanted additional cushioning under my heel, because of Achilles' tendon issues and some plantar fasciitis.
The inserts helped on both counts.
They are easy to install (I inserted them under the insole, and they worked well. They also stayed put better than some other heel cushions I've tried. They also retain more spring than I'd expect after lots of hard use.
I rated them four stars because they do what they are supposed to do - nothing stellar, but clearly a good, solid product.
At the same time, I'd note, though, that I haven't found any five-star heel cushions yet, although I've tried some twos. I'm not sure what a five-star heel cushion would do.

Own Chuck Taylors? These are for you. May 08, 2011
By Ruven G. Hernandez You just slip them on and your set.One size fits all.Cleaning is easy just rinse under cold water and air dry.The only con is that they sometimes move around but that's only if the cushion gets to dirty underneath and don't properly stick to the bottom of your shoe.Note what you see in the picture is what you're going to get.

Does the job Oct 23, 2011
By CodeZebra I run 4 miles every day and developed plantar fasciitis in my left heel. Began using the heel insert (on left heel only) over a year ago and the problem has just about disappeared. They seem to last a long time - I transfer them from old to new running shoes.
The other day, I ran in new shoes without the cushion - I realized it about 1/2 mile into my run when I felt some left heel discomfort. Today I ran in the same shoes with the insert - felt great. They make a big difference for me at minimal cost.

Works great May 01, 2010
By K. L. Williams These insoles worked great. I was only having pain in 1 heel. I tried the complete shoe insole, but it made all of my shoes fit too tight. I then tried the heel insoles, which is what was recommended by a podiatrist friend. After several weeks of wearing them, all of my heel pain is gone.
